So my courant insanity is years in the making. 20 plus years ago I got hit on my Harley, with my leg in cast I could only fit in big car, so I got a beaten up 56 Bel Air, drove it for years, gave it to my teenage son - he drove and crashed it more than once. Now said car is in my garage torn down to the frame and waiting to be blasted.
The last crash bent the driveshaft and screwed the th 350. The 283 was dialed in pretty good, so I hope to salvage it. Maybe use this as an excuse to switch to manual gear box. but all of that is after I replace much of the rusted sheet metal.
