Is there an easy way of making these fit without hacking up the wheel?
Spacer and longer studs??? I wanna be safe about it and that just dosent seen all that kosher to me.
How did you all get your wires toi fig the bigger newer drums?

Bump, How do you all make these fit?
Hope someone who actually has done this steps up. I am running a Maverick rear with 1" wide wheel adapters to use the early ford steelies. I was supprised when I found the 16" wires would go on also. You will also need the 3/16"adapter rings so that the wheel will sit correctly.

What adapter rings are you talking about?
See the werid thing is, i have a pair of Mopar Kelseys on the back, and i have an 8" ford rear. Those fit. there is enough of a dome on the drum that they fit.
Hey Arron, I think your s.o.l. You answered your question, longer blots with spacers is about all you can do. This set your wheels apart and puts more stress on the kingpins
The mounting surface on a 35 wire wheel has a step. To make them bolt up solid you need a 3/16' ring to get the surface flat again. Usually made from 4" pipe. There has been threads on this. Search.
