Doing some remodeling and ran into a dead end today. bathroom sink pedestal and the wall drain are not going to line up without cutting a notch in the back of the pedestal for the P-trap to clear. Tearing into the wall to move the drain line up a couple of inches is out of the question, anyway to cut porcelain? any ideas? need to finish this project so that I can devote some time out in the garage. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

When I tiled wife's B-room I drilled a hole thru the center of a tile with a 1-1/8" carbide masonry drill. But I think the only reason it didn't break is because I had a whole box full of tiles. If it was the last tile it probably would have been history...
Then I opened it up a bit more with this neat little hand jigsaw that takes a "blade" that looks like a piece of steel cable with either carbide or diamond chips fused to it,,,Home Depot stuff that one.
I'm going to try the saw on a windshield next... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
