There's other stuff for sale too. Even though I really just wanna push the cookbook; I just had to offer John's (Inkfick) bitchin' art on t-shirts and stuff. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I wanna thank everybody who helped put it together. It wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I'd buy 2 cook books and 2 stickers,
but I've got 2 problems
Brokerage on international courier shipments is killer. USPS is the best option and Cafe Press won't offer it.
Second I'd prefer to send a US cheque, and they won't accept cheques from Non-Us Customers.
Zeke if you wouldn't mind handling an international order I'd mail the check to you if you could relay the product.
Mike
Sure, I think we can work something out. Tman's the Drags food funds caretaker so I'll ask him if he can do it, if not I will.

My Cookbook is on its way.
Just out of curiousity, how does that work with Cafe Press? Did you send them the Artwork and the Cookbook contents, and they take care of everything else? Do they keep all that stuff in stock, or Print it on demand?

One of my Uncles just had first hand experience with Shipping an Anschutz Target Rifle from Canada. He bought it on GunsAmerica.com or something like that, and it took almost two months to get through all the Red tape.
It had to be sent from Canada to the BATF in St. Louis first, which took about a month since it had to go through Customs or whatever. After it got to St Louis, it was held by the BATF until my Uncle found a local Dealer willing to drive to St Louis and get it. It couldn't be shipped from St Louis to Columbia MO because none of the local dealers had an Import Liscense, they had to actually go to the BATF headquarters in person and pick it up.
I don't think my Uncle will be buying anymore Rifles from Canada. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Cafe press is pretty cool. I sent the art in at 300 dpi and sent in a pdf file of the cookbook ,then chose the binding style I wanted. They produce all the stuff on an as needed basis. Which works perfect for us. That way no one will be waiting for me to get off my ass and ship stuff out and we don't have to sit on any unsold copies. Being able to add the cover-art to T-shirts, aprons and other stuff was a nice plus. The best thing was that it let me do this without any cash output on my or the HAMB drags food fund. Plus it cost less per copy then doing them at Kinkos. I still hold all rights to the product too.
I have to give props to So-Cheap who gave me the idea in the first place. So go by some of his stuff too.

At 220 plus pounds i ain't gonna look too good in a thong! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Just the cook book please. HRP
OK, here is the deal. I am setting up a bank account to handle the funds raised from the HAMB Drags and to facilitate PAYPAL for the cookbooks. For you furriners I can take the checks and mony orders. I dont know the plan, but I will get the books to you even if I have to order to my house and resend them. And I promise to get them to you faster than the PIKE NUTS I own Donzie or the magazines I owe Sailor! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Zeke, shipping to Canada involves adding the appropriate amount of postage, and adding a Customs declaration sticker (free at all post offices), on which you declare the contents and their value.
As for Cword's comments on the border between the US and Canada, it is imperative that this border remain secure, to keep all those damn hosers from coming down here and buying up all of our beer, back bacon, and smokes. So like, take off, eh?

So what exactly do I do to order a book?
Do I paypal T-man and have him send me one?
If I order direct from Cafe Press or whatever its called, will I be hit with a big EXTRA charge and thusly be unable to afford the varied ingredients required for the incredible culinary masterpieces inscribed within the hallowed pages of this volume of exquisitely palatable, appetizing, flavorsome, good-tasting, mouth-watering, relishing, sapid, savory, tasty, toothsome delights?
I'm confused and hungry... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oh hell, I might as well do it now. I'll leave the thong for someone else like Moondisc.
Lets see, 4 cookbooks and a couple of shirts and a couple of stickers. WOW! I hope Ryan gets a kick-back on the shipping. Over 18 dollars. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
As long has the HAMB gets some money. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
From what I understand, you order and pay the printer. They then deposit the money in the account I set up. Remember, this a food fund for the HAMB drags.
Yeah that's how it works. You pay cafepress and they send Tman a check to deposit in the food-fund after your 30-day Money Back Guarantee is over. There are no extra fees other than shipping. So all you pay is the cost of the cookbook and S/H.
I want to thank everyone who's bought one (or more) or plans to. Seeing how I'm not all that skilled of a rodder and I've learned more here than I could ever return . I wanted to be able to give back to the HAMB as a whole. So I went with my own HELLFIRE(tm). Me and Tman are gonna kick some major ass with the next HAMBdrags Grubfest!! And the funds from this cookbook will go a long way in our doing that.

I WILL be getting one either way naturally.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I'm just wondering!
Anyone that wants to go though us for international shipping PM Tman. He's the GrubFest fund money manager and will help you out there. Once I get my copy we'll know what the weight costs will be for the shipping on that and will be able to give more accurate s/h costs. So hang on for a bit and we'll get you guys taken care of.

Hey thanks guys. I'm glad everyone is happy with it. That means a lot to me. Of course it wouldn't have happened without a lot of help though.
Jay, I am planning a second book. I will more than likey start it after the '04 HAMB drags so I can include what we do there and what Tman and the crew did last time. I got some new stuf already to put into it. And yes I will be asking for new stuf from the HAMB too.

Oh yea, She wants to send you some recipe's for the next printing. She is "Italian" and a heck of a cook....
Cool I'll take'm!! I'm taking Italian next semester BTW. The next book I plan to get more food tech oriented. Simple stuff like sauces and stocks and such that will really put your food in another level.
And remember that the funds from the sales of the cookbook and stuff goes to the HAMB Drags food fund. So buy a damn cookbook so we can feed ya!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
one last time back to the top. if you haven't bought one yet you really should.
Eric Simon yours shipped today.
I wanna thank everyone for their imput and orders. We raised a nice chunk of change for the HAMB drags grub fund.
