well i thank you guys for such a great welcome. im young and new at this but i think im doing pretty good and hope to get even better as the time goes on. if anyone has 53 hardtop parts i could really use some if your willing to part with them.

yea the back is all closed in right now but im getting ready to but the hole out for just a peep window. nothing to big.

im trying to learn how to pinstripe and its not going to good so far, but heres what i did today. not to good but i know i will get better.

i have to agree with K&R. That car NEEDS more window than just a mail slot. You might look at a late 40's piece of glass as a donor. Here is a pic of '53 ford with a '48 back window it looks pretty good.
Mr.Ratrodmustang maby you should put a mail slot in the stang that way it would be more ol'skool!

thanks for the coments guys, i do plan putting a window in the back any day now. its not going to be really big but much bigger then a mail slot. as for the pinstriping.....today was only the secound time i have ever tried but i can see im getting better already. im young and eager to learn and master everything so i have nothing but time. the pic is of todays stripping job.

Your striping doesn't really look that bad in my opinion. I'm sure when you spin your car around another one after trying to change lanes, you'll wish you put a decent sized window in the back. But hey, it's all good as long as it's not filled completely.

hey,the car's lookin good...for a suggestion on the back window...i'd stick a window out of a fleetline in there.that's what i plan on puttin in my 54 when i chop it..just a suggestion.
