Crager and Radir are 2 different companies on different ends of the country.
So unless one of them bought the other...

Thank you!

3-4 years ago, Weld was doing Cragar's aluminum line. They came out with the S/S 2000, a two-piece "modernized" version of the old steel S/S (like an Astro) which I have on my pickup. For some reason they stopped production, then they started back up again. As for the status of them, or Cragar's relationship with Weld Racing, I couldn't say.

1load, You haven't actually bought some sort of vehicle to put wheels and tires on have you? Or is this like looking for that elusive transportstion piece? Look at every tire and wheel combination known to man and still not buy anything, just waste Ryan's bandwidth.

I think you mis-typed... they only go as narrow as 15x8. I was looking at a set for myself, but 8" wheels on the front of a car??? I tried finding out if Cragar (actually the Wheel Group making them) were planning on narrower ones, and the answer was no. I don't get it - what sort of car would use 15x8's in the front???

I was in communication with the guy who was selling them on e-bay (DiscountCustomWheels). He told me they were coming out with a 15x7 late last year, but never answered any subsequent e-mails or phone calls. I wouldn't buy wheels from him, he was pretty flaky with responses. Get 'em from kustomcaraudio instead.

I'd like to know if they are available in anything narrower.

...yeah, and they are whores that are ruining the aftermarket industry by selling stuff at prices so low that warehouses and speedshops can't make a living.

Buy from a dealer...pay a little more and sleep well at night... :)

That's a pretty good lookin wheel... Wonder why Crager doesn't have it on thier website? The Crager company was bought by conglomerate Carlise in '99. Earlier this year Carlise announced they were selling off thier automotive group companies, which I assume would include Crager. Not sure what's up with Crager. I love the 'ol SS's. I run them on my '56. I catch a lot of greif for running them. You guys raise hell with me 'cause they're shinny. The kahky short boys tell me they're dated and tuners tell I need 'em in 22's.

Abomber30 just become a dealer for Radir...He quoted a price of $177.00 for a 15x7 4 3/4 rim...If you want the real deal....I will agree that the Cragar is a pretty kool looking rim....You had to figure it would be a matter of time before they stepped up with a knock off since Radirs are pulling big money and that style is making a comeback..
