Some may remember a few months back I picked up a 49 Ford F-6 COE to build into a car hauler. Only problem is that it came with the rest of the truck attached! I have stripped the old wood flatbed and now have the rolling frame. I am going to save the front frame section just in case I use that, but the front axle and suspension, and entire rear frame rails and rear axle and suspension will not be used. Several other misc parts as well.
I just want to get rid of this stuff. Anyone know of any old truck, especially old BIG truck, msg boards that I can list this stuff to get rid of it? BTW, it's all free or else going to scrap. Huge two-speed rear axle that seems decent shape, huge front I-beam axle, all are complete but need the brakes all gone through of course. I have to get rid of this stuff, it's taking up my whole side yard of my house!
I am going to build it using late model dually front and rear along with home-made flat bed. Air ride suspension so it can be adjusted for load.
