Hi all, I've read many items and searched the HAMB for years but never got around to joining - can't say why, guess I was "too busy", right. I'm a old school gearhead from the late 50's - early 60's - first car in 1962 was a 57 Olds Super 88 with J-2. Got a 65 GTO in 1967 (Navy Days) and had Royal Pontiac convert it with the Bobcat engine modifications. Current "ride" or should I say "ride on Jackstands", is a 1956 Pontiac Safari I'm working on - goal is to create an early 60's mild custom - 59 Cadillac grill, frenched headlights and antennas, 56 Olds taillights, dual quad on 1958 over-bored 371 with street cam, rolled and pleated, lake pipes, yada yada yada...... Only problem is finding time to do it all...... Anyway - glad to be here.
