If people can post VW's here, this MUST be appropriate. If it's not, i'll delete it.
It's a 65 Kenworth.
Built on a budget, with junkyard parts. Since we ARE the junkyard it was a little easier.
It is driven daily, and is our only delivery truck.
(our business is "experienced" heavy truck parts.)
The front bumper is ugly, but we haven't got around to changing it as of yet.
And, yes, it is a little loud in the cab. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is a guy up here with a chopped and stretched NEW Kenworth.
Why is the exhaust in front of the windshield ? ? ? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hey Mr.happy, do you have a set of the single lights from an old narrow nose KW ( or maybe a Pete). I haven't seen a set for a while but the last time I did I remember thinking they would make good lights for a hotrod.

I KNEW it would look better as a single axle.
I'll show the photoshopped pics to the boss.
He'll dig it.
Willowbilly, I don't have any of a KW or Pete, but I do have some Guides off of a Hayes. They're going on my 34 P/U. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The exhaust is there for a couple reasons. When we installed the stainless air cleaner, there was an extra hole in the cowl. The original set up had another pipe with provisions for underhood air. You could get window-forward exhaust as a factory option on earlier Kenworths, we just modified it a little. So there. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Looks good! Always like to see old trucks in use.
Here is a Kenworth that I recently painted at work. It's a hot-water truck. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
