Any cool front seat suggestions for a merc?

I need a new front seat for my 49, not just run of the mill I need something cool, old and low. I am not opposed to buckets. I have a 91 leather split bench from a caddy 4 dr, its annoying me. I know you guys will have a good idea.

Mustang seats are pretty dang cool - they have those chrome brackets and the metal backs...

1961 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88. They have a killer 3 tone color combo and nice pleats. Chrome strips run along each side and across the top. It would look great in a merc!

Hey Bill,

Great post!! I have a split leather bench seat out of a 79 Cougar and I need a change. I love the look of the 60's T-Birds. I was thinking about bucket seats out of a late model Chevy pickup. They are low back buckets and have that 60's look. The best thing is they should be alot more comfortable than the T-birds.

O/T What is the story behind your Dice tail lights? It was one of my high lights of the year seeing the dice frenched into the Mercs rear quarters.

Hey Mick, The dice just popped in my head one day no story at all. Kinda boring huh. I just wanted something diffrent. I was just about to french the stock merc taillights when I had a trip to Vegas saw the dice and bought them and the rest is history...I hope no one copys it..LOL
