Has any one already got an ACAD drawing file of 31 Model body and a 32 frame they wouldn't mind sharing?

I would like to do some drawings to plan out the chop and the body mount - gas tank options, rake, wheels size, etc? I really have to do this to burn time while I save money for parts.

Just want to check before I recreated the wheel. I know wescots has some good plans with dims, but they are pdf

thanks, Tudor

Check with Ichoptop. I seem to remember he had something like that a while ago. Not sure if it was a 31 or not though.

Is it still considered traditional if you build it in AutoCAD first?

oh I'll use and old school mouse so it'll be cool

I think an acad file has a ".dwg" extension

A jpeg file has .jpg and is a picture or scanned image

thank fellas

here is the image mr. vick sent me! cool - it will help to get some dimensions

I have a bunch more of the above diagrams in higher resolution here:

I scanned the pics in a high resolution to preserve as much of the detail as possible.

I have a SolidWorks model of a pair of deuce rails that I made from the print in the Wescotts catalog. Their drawing is a little incomplete, but the model should be close enough for basic layout work.

Do you want it pinched for the A or stock? 2D or 3D? Whatcha got to trade?

Been working on a '27 tub, but don't have any model A body parts.

Chris

40Tudor - Is solid works compatable with ACAD? I'd like it pinched as my frame actually is. Don't have much to trade as far as ACAD files go. What do you want for it? I supppose 3d if possible. Thanks, Tudor

You can bring that '30 above into autocad and trace her, then fence only around the new line work, copy and paste into a new drawing. If you can't bring it into autocad send me your email and I'll send it to you as I have already done so. If you can't trace in autocad then your shit outta luck until I get the time to do so.

I drew up a 32 frame on autocad.
I will mail you the file when I get home from work.

Duece guy - thanks - I downloaded a Tudor - very cool

Maybe 40Tudor can trace it into ACAD for me.

I will have to explore this "tracing" - you can be learning a lot on the Hamb man
