Finally joined the H.A.M.B. from sunny Florida!

My first experience with forums was with 'Ol Skool Rodz and thought that was neat - finally a magazine for true old school hot rods and customs! Then came Eddie Paul's site, which was even better! Eddie Paul was responsible for most of the hollywood cars of the movies - Cobra, Fast & Furious, Cars, etc.
I've owned a real steel '31 Chevy 5 window coupe for close to 13 years as an early '60s primered hot rod. Whitewall slicks, Astro wheels and even 6-twos for a few years! Now I'm just getting set to tear her apart for a complete metalflake restoration to a blown 392 HEMI MONSTER as an early 60's Altered Gasser!!

Thanks for the reply - I'm set to go to BilletProof - Florida at Don Garlits Museum in Ocala, March 22nd - are you going? My rod is going in to my friends transmission shop for the complete restoration sometime this month. I'll be grabbing my hemi to be brought back from Daytona Auto Design (hemi engine machine shop) to Billy's shop to be painted candy orange metalflake!
Billy and I are going to Garlits in his wicked '31 Model A - you might have seen his car at the Rumbler's Orlando show earlier this month!
