Is that the one with the little triangle pad?
My wife got me one for Christmas a few years ago...I don't think I have ever used it. It didn't seem to do anything.

Does Craftsman make Ryobi? Or vice versa? Reason I ask is I looked at two table mount $99-$159 Craftsman drill presses at Sears then saw what appeared to be the exact same two at month old Home Depot with Ryobi badging. And it scared me caw the fucking things were falling to pieces before my very eyes.

Hmmm...I'll let you know how long the $99 Ryobi drill press lasts, I just bought one! I needed a decent cheap one, so instead of going the Harbor Freight route, I got the Home Depot one (might even be the same thing, who knows?).
Oh well, I don't use it constantly, so maybe I'll get my hunert dollars out of it... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I've got the Ryboi 5pc 18V kit. It was on sale at Home Depot for $150 or so. Best $150 I've spent on power tools so far. It has a drill, sawzall, 4" circular saw, flashlight, and dust buster. I haven't had a single problem yet, I've had it for 2 years and most tools get used semi-regularly. Only complaint I have is that when the light falls off the workbench, it usually means a new bulb.

I bought my bride a Ryobi 14.4 drill so she wouldn't keep borrowing mine...darn thing won't stayed charged and drills about 2 holes before it dies...garbage! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
I bought the same kit Bugman bought.. For the most past, they have treated me good..
I did have to bring the sawzall back and exchange it for a different style..The blade lock on the first one didn't lock the blade in..it just shot it out at a high rate of speed as soon as you pulled the trigger.
My only complaint is it seems the batteries don't last very long at all..
But it was cheep, and i've had em for about a year and a half beating the crap out of them.
So if they all shit the bed now, i wouldn't care..
You pay for what ya get IMO..
The're deffinately no DeWalt thats for sure..
Rat...
If your going to Buy Jap stuff go with Mikida(?) there"Best" line is really good shit! I worked as the machine maintenance man at a fabrication shop & out of all the"hand" tools Mikida & Milwaukee are the best, handsdown, no doubt!!
DeWalt, B&D,Porta cable, and everything else just is a "weeekend" type tool.
Also Milwaukee is a great company to deal with if you do have problems, they have great Breakdowns of there tools & they send you the stuff right away. Alot of times they'll tell you to send them the tool & the'll fix it fo nothin!!
I couldn't tell you how mikidas are for repair, they really didn't break much!!

Forgot, Ryobi does make a decent fishng reel!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
