Flower shop logos are usually pretty cool. I got a buddy with a really nice 29 sedan delivery with his flower shop logo on the inset. It includes a very lifelike painting of red roses. My old 50 Chevy sedan delivery also had a flower shop logo on it's side panel with a 2 digit phone number [36]...........
My 36 Chevy pickup will be sporting an ex local cattle rendering plant logo. That's about all I wanna say about it right now.
Be careful about using somebody else's active business name. They'll gladly slap a lawsuit on you.
Tim thinks I need to letter it with "Rocky's hide roasting service" logos on the doors. You go ahead.
Don't forget to include a vintage sounding phone number. Something like BRookville, 4456 or similar.
When I was a kid out prefix was CYpress 6, blah blah blah blah...

Maybe some sort of tongue in cheek twist on something personal to you or you family or profession, etcc.? Put something out "on the table" that everyone can use as a starting point...I'll bet you get some good input!

I saw that Elroys truck at BP. Cracked me up. There was another one there also... something about sectioning or cutting up stuff and this truck was sectioned, it looked like...

Elrustorod-- I guess you've never been through Post, TX and seen the sign for the Quick Lay Pipeline Service!
They are on the main road through town on the way to Lubbock. Been there for years... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When I was a kid my Grandfather had a fishing resort in upper Michigan. He drove a yellow Chevy pickup with the resorts name on the side. I always thought that if I ever get an old pickup I'd honor him by doing the same. The resort is now the location of a casino in Bay Mills.
I think old campground/resort names are cool, especially if you're into hunting and fishing. Or how about a Ranch?

I had the intentions to put my biz logo on my door when I first started this truck. I ask and some people think I'd be nuts and some say hell ya. I have a floorcovering biz. Quality Floors and Paints. I could come up with something catchy about gettin laid but I think I got to keep it respectable from a biz point. Its a daily driver and I drive it to peoples' houses measuring and selling jobs. What do you think? Should I? You guys would die if you saw this truck when I got it. It had Richmond Plumbing on the doors and gate. When I sprayed it with aircraft paint remover the black paint just fell off it and clear as day the original green paint was there with the logos in yellow. I just wasn't thinking and was excited to do the truck my way. So off it came. I did take pics of it though. I'll have to find em and scan em in. thanx, ruralrod
