Hi Guys,
I've been searching high and low for this question to be answered and so far no one can help. I'm running a 1951 331 without the beehive oil filter in my '36 ford. The manual says my crankcase holds 5 quarts of oil but I'm not sure if that's in consideration of the filter (which looks like it holds alot!). Is anyone else out there running this engine and if so, how much oil do you use. Thanks in advance for any assistance! -BF
