At 67 years plus three days I'm at a loss to remember the name of the company that manufacturers and sells just about any fiberglass race car body you can imagine. Help, please.

I don't know the sites, but is it MAS or Unlimited Fiberglass products? Those are the 2 that ring a bell to me...

I can put you in touch with a lady in Sacramento, CA that has molds for Don Edmunds supermodified bodies....and probably some others. She may have the molds from the old Tognotti speed shop.

Check on roadsters.com
They have a good listing of body sources, some of which are race weight.

RodnRace used to be Ai fiberglass. It's now under new ownership.

I built the Don Edmonds Super Modified bodies in the late 60s. I built all his other stuff, too. Wayno

10 years ago U.S. Body source was not the kind of quality that most would be happy with. I spent a lot of time trying to get one piece front ends and whole body's to even be close. They may be fine now but I would watch it.

I got a 1 piece front end from Fiberglass trends, and all they did was take a pair of glass fenders and a glass hood and stick 'em together... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif They didn't take into account the gap between the hood and fenders, so it's narrower than the rest of the car. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif On top of all that, they charged me about 5 or 6 times the price I could've done it (sticking a hood & fenders together) for myself! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
