Thanks to you guys I got back in the barn and started working on the 47 Zephyr again, I'm sure it's been talked about here but has anyone used 1/2 ton ford P/U spindles on 40's I beam axels, the king pin boss is very close,I'm building on the cheap so after market spindles are out of the question, after reading the thread on drilling axels I've decided against IFS but I want the front disc.I prefer Ford I've got alot of them laying around mostly MK 4's and big birds. Anybody used anything else? Thanks Bob.

Oh forgot to mention I'm gonna run a 460/C6 and this thing weighs 5500 pounds. Ran the original brakes on my 58 fairlane with a 460 and it stopped OK but tended to fade quickly coming off donner sumit,so this time I want to run 4 wheel disc.Bob
