i have cut out the rust fom the poncho, put new metal in and seam sealed- i am going to por 15 the whole floor, then i was thinking of rhino guarding over top of that- any body done this before or have ideas as to whether it would work well or not?

i used duplicolor spray on truck bedliner. looks good and is water proof. you should have even better luck because of the POR15 and Rhino.

so you want to rhino the floor inside the car?? although i'm much more partial to line-x, heres the scoop as i see it...
first off remember that the stuff NEVER comes off. it goes in around 1/8 to 1/4" thick and once its in, its in. now to do it on the underside makes some sense, protect from salt and snow and such, but again, its there for good. guess the question is "whats the logic?"

I herculined the inside of my jeep, and it has held up very well. Herculiner is the roll on do it yourself version of Rhino liner which has to be preffesionally done. Line X is another one that has to be done proffesionally but I here it is far superior to anything else. The herculiner in my jeep has faded a little bit from sitting in the sun, but after putting on some of that tire shine stuff it looked new again. it has alot more "grit" than does rhino lining. I have some clutch fluid leaking down my firewall and that has lifted it in spots, but other has stayed attached everywhere. It was about $100 for a kit at pepboys to do the whole thing. Hope that helps
Oh, and herculiner is not as thick as rhino or line x

I forget which bedliner they used but there was a show on TV where it is being used to protect buildings from terrorist attacks. A cement block was droped two stories and shattered, another sprayed with bedliner shattered but stayed together.

that ones Line X, really cool stuff. they covered the entire monster garage rock crawling bronco with it if you ever saw that one.
