Hello all! Just wanted to finally say hey. I've been reading alot on hear especially the tech section, and finally decided to introduce myself. I'm not much on words, but wanted to thank all you guys for the help even if you didn't know you were helping. It's nice to have a place to come to when your stuck, and know that others have been there before you. Once again thanks for the help on getting my 30 A coupe project rollin! Later!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm in Johnson City. It's in the Eastern part of Tenn. about 1.5 Hrs. East of Knoxville. I wanted to post a picture of what I started with. It was a ride and drive car that was started being built in the late 50's. It has a 51 Merc. flathead that was probably only about 6 or 7 years old when put in the car. The motor has been bored, ported and relieved back in the day, and she's runnin vintage Isky Cams. I have all the documentation because the two brothers that started building it wrote everything down in a log book. I thought that was pretty cool !The 3 big number 97's Strombers and the vintage Edlebrock intake were on it also. The vintage Fenton headers sounds awesome on some straight pipes. She's got a 34 three speed toploader with 39 Ford pedals. I have decided to rebuild the car because when it was built they pretty much ruined the frame. I am currently building a frame and hopefully will have it back on the road this summer! I'm going to try to get some pics and put them up as I go. We'll see!

Josh, didn't know you lived in Johnson City. I use to live there back in late 60's. I worked for Coca-Cola out of Atlanta and was a Territory Manager. I called on Chain Headquaters and Coca-Cola bottlers in Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia. Stayed there about 18 months then they transferred me to Montgomery. Al. Sure was glad to get out of that SNOW! There are some great people in that part of the country.
