Couldn't have been any more of a perfect day - spending time with your bud's (including HAMB's own PakRat32 & BigChief), temps in the low-70's and a cloud cover - no sunburn to worry about, the smell of burning rubber in the air, and cold adult bevs in the cooler. I'm posting pics of some of the cars in the car "show" - not really a show really, more just a cruise in (about 600 cars) and park in the infield. Anyway, here's some of my favs.............

Never did get any pics of the drags themselves - my camera batteries died and I forgot to pack extras. Lots of gassers running this year - sorry I didn't get 'em.

It has a multicarbed inline 6 with a split manifold and fishtail tips.

It was a GREAT gig! I've never been to it before, but i can tell it's gonna be another must hit deal!!

I have about 25 or so pics on my digi-cam, but havn't down loaded them yet. I'll maybe get them on here tomorrow..

Did Paul (the guy that owns/built that roadster) tell ya anything about it??
He bought the body like 25 years ago and paid 20 bux for it!!
He's a cool guy and a talented striper..he did the white lines on the truck..and the guy who owns that KICKASS panel, 'Rondvoo', another great striper, did the black stuff on it.
That truck is wayyyyy cool, and as Unkl said, sounds just as sweet!
