Thanks to all. It was a great day.

I entered the open gass class and the streetrod shootout. I red lighted in the opening round of open gas and I was number 3 qualifier in the streetrod shootout. The number one qualifier (a blown Hemi powered 40 Willys) broke and that put me back in. The truck ran better than ever as I had made some changes this last month. I was hoping for some high 12's but the best I could do was a 13.1. I beat a 39 Ford in the final because I cut a good light as he ran faster than I did.

I drove to the strip, ran all day, got a trophy, and drove home. Life is good.

EEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeexcellent! The semi-gloss black paint on your truck makes it look as good as it runs. I was impressed by it at the HAMBdrags. Congrats.

I get tired of hearing people talk about how easy it is for guys to break into the 12's.
