BB Chev in a 1955 Ford Sedan

I have 2 big block Chevys. 1 454 and 1 402. The 402 hauls ass. I wnt to put it in a 1955 Ford Sedan. I was studying it yesterday and lo and behold...the existing Ford tie rods are gonna go where my oilpan needs to live. Hnnnnnnnn. Has anyone made a similar swap? If so, what is the remedy. I prefer to use the Ford frame without cutting and adding a Nova or Camaro frontend clip.HEELLLLLP Please. I bet it would all fit very nicely when you throw a straight axle in it.

Also, from reading your post, it sounds like you want those of us that could potentially solve your problem to stop what we are doing and write out a separate email directly to you. There are a few things wrong with this...
1. Judging from your post count, you could just be using us for info, so I'm sure nobody is going out of their way to reply.
2. You can change it in your preferences to get an email notification when someone posts on this thread if you mark this thread as your favorites, so YOU can do a little leg work, as opposed to any of us sending a personalized email.

Thannks for the reply. I was under the impression that THIS was a page OR site for rodders to help each other. I have seen some really assinine questions and answers on here but figured people were just inexperienced. I have been doing this for over 4 decades, Always been a Ford man. I have NEVEr tried putting a BB Chev into a Ford.It is too much fun out running them that to join them. I think I will sell the BB Chevs and got back to Ford. I don't want to upset Henry. Thank YOU for being decent enough to reply. I got attacked verbally by a whole bunch of A-HOLES and I am sorry to say that IF all Rod sites were this way and political it would be a cryin ass shame.
