I ordered one too but had to send it back cause it was early GM splines, not late model. It was super nice and I was bummed. Great guys. I was disapointed it didn't work out, and they were super cool about taking it back.

It's nice to hear that there are people out there that still build a quality product at a decent price. I knew it hadn't all gone to pot.
Thanks
I have sold several of their columns/drops/wheels. All of it is nice. The column comes with a really nice polish as do the drops. Highly reccomend them, but you would have known that if you read my A+ suppliers post a few weeks back http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Limeworks is the best if you are looking for a clean, authentic column and wheel for the right price. We selected them from everyone else for our magazine truck build. You will be happy with what they have.

I am putting one in my A Coupe as we speak and it is nice. I meet the guys at the Fathers Day LA Roadster show and they are really great. I had lost the spring and brush for my turn signals and they actually gave me one free of charge along with one of their tee shirts.
I will buy from them again, great quality and great service.

I put one in the 32 I'm building with their drop and 39 banjo wheel, nice quaility and a really nice drop, looks right and not "street roddy". Great guys, I screwed up and ordered one too short, no problems with exchange, they even covered the shipping!

I have their 36" long '40 Ford column in polished stainless in my coupe and it is killer! It has a nice mechanism that allows a stock '40 Ford steering wheel and horn button work on it......I love it......

Pretty rare to see over 20 replys after some one has asked for an opinion of a product or company and everyone is good.
I thank that goes a long way in describing the quality and service from LimeWorks.
Are they Alliance vendors? If not they should be!!!

I have one in my coupe and one in my roadster. I'm a happy customer. The coupe has the model that takes virtually any 3 bolt aftermarket seering wheel and the roadster has the one with a tapered and keyed shaft for the '39 Ford banjo wheels.

Even funnier, if you realize the original post is 2 1/2 years old...
*but it is really cool to see such a good reputation after the fact :)

Yeah, since I posted this my wife bought me a banjo wheel for my 36. They(Steve) worked with her to make sure she got the right one, since it was a Christmas present.
I don't have their column yet but I am going to buy one for the 36 when I can get back on it.

As has already been said, Steve and the Limeworks crew are first class.
I have the sprint car style wheel on the roadster, and they have done some critical welding, fabrication
and assembly on the steel quickchange rearend that I recently installed. Outstanding work.
The best indicator of all to me though, was Steve taking some time to show my wife
around the shop and answer her questions.
He is a busy guy, but took the time to do this for her.
Plus, they have the coolest shop light I have ever seen. '22

Thanks to everyone that has said such great things about our parts & company, I do try hard to keep my integrity with our parts & the work we do, I also try to keep the prices affordable to most. We have a huge overhead in So Cal so we have that to contend with but I don't think Hot Rodding should be for the Mega Rich Few. I am still working in the shop building cars & coming up with products that I would like to use , I build traditional style cars & I need traditional looking parts , so that is the credo I work to.
I have joined the Alliance Vendors today so maybe we can help a few more Rods get on the road. I'm humbled by the comments I read above , it means a lot to us all at the shop, to impress a Hard Core Group on the H.A.M.B. is no mean feat. Many thanks.
