I'm new to the hamb. I have several Hudon streetrods and a Hudson Drag truck. Does anyone know of a english wheel manufacturer in the northwest. I want to make my own rocker panels and rolled rear pan for a 51 Hudson Hornet. Any leads would be great. Thanks, Bob

Check out the "links" page here for several E-wheel suppliers: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/metalshapers/

Welcome!!! Let's see these Hudsons! Details also help - things like how you did motor swaps, brakes, steering etc......(I have a 49, looking for tips http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Have alot of photos, someone tell me how to shrink pic size so that this site will accept them. I'm green when it comes to computers. If you let me know your emaill address I can send some that way. In my 51 Hudson Hornet the front steer Nova/camaro sub frame is a perfect fit. In the rear the 82-88 S-10 pickup rear end fits real well. You have to make a driveline tunnel full lenth of the floor if you want to drop it in the dirt. We used a 350 small block with 700R AOD for the tranny. I've done several of the stepdown Hudsons, let me know what style look you're after and I will try to help you in any way I can. I also have several parts rigs for parts if theres something you're missing. Bob

All capital letters is the same as yelling. Your name looks like a shameless spam. Let it now start.

I'm new to this message board stuff, is it wrong to list name of business as user name??? If so I could change it. To bad k9racer is taken that was my second choice!! HAR HAR

I don't care if some thinks your name is spam...

but for the love of god, please shorten it to about half it's length. When you make a post, it screws up the entire main page.

Maybe "BobsCAG" then put Bob's Classic Auto Glass in your signature.

Otherwise, welcome!

Welcome to the HAMB.
You sound like a likeable fella. Yes, lets see the pics. I always resize my stuff through Yahoo photos. You just upload them into a free account and then pull them back out onto your desktop. They resize them automatically....then you can post them on here as an attachment.

Hang around long enough and someone might just tell you about Photobucket...

Anyhow, Tell us a little something about your business. It is your intro after all and SOME of us might just need the service you offer. Also check out the HAMB-O-DEX. Its the area of the message board where you can advertise your business for free. The HAMB is a great place....just stick around and help out where you can.

Again, welcome.

VT.

An English wheel may seem like you answer, but it might not be. Get a couple videos from Ron Covell if you want to try making your own body piece. They're available at Eastwood or at www.covell.biz. (http://www.covell.biz.)
You'll find that there's a LOT you can do with simple hand tools.

Can't link to MSN or Yahoo, because of security on their end.
If you load it to the HAMB server,it needs to be a JPG,under 70k.
