A couple of days ago I had the chance to buy a real clean 85 VW Cabriolet,I never buy these cars but it was almost free all that was wrong was an alternator and a few electrical problems which I repaired..I was getting all set to do what i do and sell it for around $900 or so.This is when I found out a family friend was in crisis and was in dire need,this person lost there only car,lost thier job,thier spouse and thier kids.This person asked if I knew where they could get a car right away and cheap.I know this person didnt have any money at all..I said well..I have this VW cabriolet..its really nice..at first I said just give me $300 for it and its yours.This person then asked if they could pay me in a few weeks,I said fine..this person came down last night to pick up the car and this person was just as happy as could be to get this car,not only was it just cheap transportation but it was a cool convertible that looked cool to boot.I showed this person all they needed to know to drive it and and then I handed over the keys and paperwork and said Merry Christmas in July,Its all yurs free and clear!! I never had anyone show as much appreciation torwards me I dont think in my life.This person just nearly broke down in tears and couldnt stop thanking me ,it was an awkward feeling at first and also the friends of this person were in complete shock I guess..I'm apparently "Awesome" now for doing what I did,especially for this certain person.It felt damn good to do something like that..I knmow that sounds sappy and gay maybe..but really its the most awseome feeling when you know you affected someones life in a positive way...who knows maybe I'll get to heaven after all....hmmmm then again..??? hehehe http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
