Headlight relay

Has anyone ever heard of double relaying a 6 volt car to make the headlights brighter? My headlights seem to be working just fine, I dont know why it would be needed.

Don't know where you got that information. But relays are just heavy duty "switches." They will not pass any more current than they receive. Or "brighten" your lights.
