Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out on how to set the angle of the rear end (to match the engine's angle) when using a 4 link setup. I understand shimming on a parallel leaf setup, but its not the same when using coils and a 4-link; could I just make the spring mounting plates at an angle to get the rear end to sit the way I need it?? any help appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

if all the brakects are all ready welded on the frame and rear end, all you have is the adjustment on the bars..or lenghtening or shortenig the bars....if you haven't welded anything yet, this is how to do it:

take the frame and rear end and make some simple brakects to place the rear EXACTLY where you want it...make sure it is centered on the frame and the the wheelbase and/or the wheels is correct to where you want them and are centered in the fenders..and the rear is parallel to the front end,etc...pinion angle is set...all you have then is the frame with the rear end held firmly in the realtionship where they should be

now you take the suspension/locating bars, etc , center all the adjustments ,or make sure all are the same....and make them fit..that may require custom length bars and custom brackets,ets......then weld it up

And in case you didn't catch it make sure you have the ride height where it will be when the car is on the road.
