I'm gonna saddle up the louvered pickup and head over Saturday--anybody else from around these parts gonna go?

If ya don't know about it, it's a once-a-month free cruise-in around the town square---not a show, not an "event", just a 'park and walk and talk and meet new people and check out their cars'. I hit it last year, October I think-- 800+ cars. Last month I heard the count was 1150+, and they expect more this time http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Yeah, it's open to anything and there's a fair amount of redneckchromeandbillet4x4mulletmobiles(tm) but I saw some kool stuff last year, like a 59 Ranchero with a 365 Cad motor and a 57 Chevy chopped so hard a hamburger wouldn't fit thru the vent windows http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Everybody's gotta be somewhere, so...

Speak up, I'm bringin' the beer http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sir Scheib,

I attended last month, record 1100 cars. It just keeps growing and taking over more of the square. You will see weird stuff that you don't see anywhere else. It's definitely worth going to, and well organized.

You just might get a prize for "most louvered"

Later,
Rich
