Whats wrong with arkansas rash?? Hell all the old cars are still in arkansas thats where I find all my good deals. I don't ever see shit in oklahoma usually. where as I can just drive around the backwoods around here and find cool shit. Like I just found a complete running and driving 59 caddilac 4dr hardtop. About 15 minutes from here is a 63 galaxy 2dr hardtop factory fourspeed in the floor w/ a bench seat instead of buckets, and its got a bigblock in it.

There is lots of stuff still down here so I like it other than there isn't any good jobs down here.

Well from what I saw the floors were bad, a little rust in the rockers, no motor or trans was there, it needs a windshield and a back glass I couldn't tell on the side glass last time I was through there. and I didn't check the bed floor. The body also has misclenious dents all over it.

The car is 45 minutes away from me so I don't get to see it very often but if I do I will check it out some more.

I'm staring at this conglomeration of parts on my desk that is the valve to the hot water hookup for the washer.

I was hooking up our new one last night and this thing started leaking at the fitting.

That little voice that should have said, " hey fuckwad, what have we learned about screwing with leaky pipes under pressure?" went to bed a few hours before the rest of me.

All I can say is that it was REAL PURDY and my tired brain actually stared at the gusher a moment or two before realizing what was going on.

Nothing like getting up in the morning and taking a bath with a rag and some bottled water!

At least I still had one voice still rolling with me.

this is going to sound wierd, but a lot of the locals dont even know which park in Ft Smith is Ft Smith Park, and I didn't know either until I looked it up...I've been asking them since I heard where it was supposed to be.

I looked it up on the city map in the phone book, and the Park that is the REAL Fort Smith Park is not too far from the OLD hangin dice location, just a little east of there, on the river...last time I was in Fort Smith, the road was called Clayton Expressway...if you need a landmark, there is a lighthouse and a big "adult novelty store" (Crazy Earl's) that you will see before you get to the road that turns by the BIG Liquor store...yep, a Liquor store close to the show...I don't think that was intentional though...just a lucky coincidence for those that enjoy that sort of thing http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hopefully they will have some signs up...I have been told there is supposed to be another car show in town this weekend, in association with the Bluesfest...so beware, otherwise you might wind up at the park that has the vagrants...

Its funny....the Bluesfest thing is at the other end of Clayton at Harry E. Kelly Park...its a big open park with an amplitheater (sp). Fort Smith park has alot of trees and boat loading docks...if anyone gets confused.
