Today my 53' studebaker had a run in with a 2000 Toyota Corrola literally. This guy in his rental car passes his turn off, puts the car in reverse, and slams into the front of my truck. My grandfather was driving since we were doing some work on the carburetor and about 20 yards from the house we had a wreck. The guy never looked, even though he said he never saw us 3 car lengths from him in his mirrors, and never slowed down. Damage includes: busted radiator (fan came through), possibly busted air conditioning condensor, oil cooler, original grille, and the two front fenders (possibly could be salvaged), and two turn signals.
The guy didnt even have a car, but had his daughters car insurance in his name. And best of all, he was wearing a shirt that read "Hustle it Pays!"
may have pics by end of day.

Sorry to hear it, but sounds like you & Gramps are OK & thats whats important. Sheetmetal can be replaced. But maybe you should follow what your signature says & introduced the guy to a hammer.......
Yer truck better get fixed for free. His fault, the idiot.
What is it with people and pulling out or doing stupid crap when an old car is present? I can't tell you how many times I've had to nail the brakes cuz some dipshit pulls out in front of me, and I know that if I was in a "normal" modern car, they wouldn't have done it.

Restore that Stude to Concours condition on Corrola man's nickel! Really sorry to hear that, man. It sounds like old sheetmetal attracts these kinda things, eh?
Good luck w/ the repair and say hi to yer gramps fer me, both of mine passed on.
