As I get closer to saving/abusing some Model A I have a question about surface rust removal on the interiors of the doors.
Do you guys pull the door skins? Have them dipped? Elbow grease? Or just leave it?
On a more general level what are you guys doing with other cars as well where getting any kind of appendage in the door/elsewhere is not an option?
Thanks.

Of course, the amount of rust plays a big part on the fix.
But normally, I get into those areas with whatever appendage or tool I can. Usually an angle grinder with a knotted small wire brush attachment.
Zero rust, and many others, are rust preventatives that are designed to go over rusted surfaces and seal them. I might add the mention brand is great for these areas.

Forgot to mention.....
Use Picklex to neutralize the rust.
Great stuff found here. autobody store (http://www.autobodystore.com/cgi-bin/config.pl?index)

I've been using Rust Converter from Walmart.
$3.94 a rattle can.
The inner fenders on my 54 Merc had heavy surface rust on them.
Wire brushed them, sprayed them with Rust converter, waited 24 hours and painted them with Walmart 94 cent rattle cans.
Been over a year, and no rust has come back threw.
