Hey its saturday oct 11th. How many of you guys are bringing your corvettes out??? hahahahaha Hopefully it will be above 50 degrees and not raining but? ya never know. my buddy hopperstad has a 47 desoto coupe I may go try to get from him this week! MAybee that will be the pileup preparty try to save that from the boneyard and give it a cool one night makeover. I mean a 10 inch chop hahahahaha beer will be cold friday nite for all the guys coming in.
I'm still trying to finish up the bass boat. Its kinda reminding me of a bowling ball too. Either way I'm trying like hell to drive it there.
Drew...I've now got 1500 grit on the soles. I'll be sure to return them.

Sunday is gonna suck driving straight back and going to Work Monday morning.

Here at marty's body shop we have an interesting time every day. So it's kind of a circus party all the time and tonite it lasted till I got home a few minutes ago. Lot of welding to do on that shittin roadster. anyhow there is not much to do for the show except for to wait for it to start so we will start friday. We have a have beta hahahaha no we got a vcr and a cool lounge room so bring tapes. And don't be affraid to pick up a cutting wheel you never know what might get chopped or channeled if it's sitting in one place to long. see all ya'll soon andy drew

Mike, you should just crawl up into a little ball in the truck when you get home from work. When Kris gets up in the morning, at a decent hour, she'll hop in the truck and start to drive your sleepy ass to IL. When you wake up, you'll be at the show, bright eyed and bushytailed.

That's the elusive Hot Rod Mike's real A truck (originally a firetruck)! I don't think he'll be out this year. He (with his lady's help)had a kid & I haven't seen him much this year. He does drive the fuck out of that car though.
Small story:
Caravanning to Superdawg one friday night. My buddy Nick in his clean 'glass Deuce is in front of me. HotRod Mike is behind me, headers open. (Just last year, he welded caps on his home made headers) Out of the corner of my eye, in the rearview, I see Mike whip it into the left lane & punch it BBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Nick, who's NEVER hard on his car, goes at it with him. I wish I had a camera on me!
(Sorry, there was no fire, no cops & no lives in danger)
P.S. Mrs Exotica will be there in the Exotica Ford. Unfortunately, work sent me to a trade show on the worst weekend of the year. Say Hi - she won't bite. She'll be the snappy dresser that looks like Louise Brooks.

Cherryblossom, I've been wanting to go to this show all year and it looks like its a NO GO. All of the party poopers here have got nothing but excuses. I should have hooked up with you and Mike. I could have traded off driving with you so his sorry ass could get some beauty sleep. BTW, have all of the nailheads found new homes? I'll be upset if I've missed out on one of them. HAHA!!!
