Who's going to the Hotrod-a-Rama?

Were going to leave on Thursday the 5th, staying overnight halfway in Oregon, then get into Tacoma on Friday the 6th about noon. Anyone local want to get a convoy going?

You better get yourself a place to stay fast! There is some motorcycle show going on at the Tacoma Dome the same weekend, and most of the rooms in the city are gone. We have to stay at the $Sheraton Tacoma$ because it was the only place left that was close to the Swiss Tavern. We have to start practicing being 'High Rollers' because we'll be spending a lot more money on the hotel room this year for sure!

shit man, i just got off the phone with some hotels down there. the shereton is fucking spendy!! it is close though.

called some of the places out a bit. better prices, but i'm thinking they are kind of sketchy. one place doesn't take reservations!! they probably rent rooms by the hour.

where did you stay last year? i just don't want to get stuck in some shit hole where i'm worried about my girlfriends safety, or if my car will be there in the morning.

We stayed at the Ramada last year. It's a great place. It has under-ground parking with a full-time Guard. We made friends with the guy last year and he watched our stuff like a hawk! No worries at all.

A bunch of us from SE Washington are leaving Friday morning. We're in the Aces & Eights and look forward to meeting you guys. Also, we got rooms at the Ramada Express in Fife.(just a couple of miles down the Pac. Highway from the Swiss). If they still have rooms, they were about $49 for one bed and $63 for two beds.
