Anybody have a link to classic motorcycle ads? Looking for a good "Flying Wheel" logo.
Thanks,
Lounge

Figured as much.
I hear that Kracka already got one.
What's it look like?
Have you seen the rendering from FunHater?
I'm still looking for other ideas for ya.

Didn't know Kracker did. Knew Weefer is in the middle of getting his. Big Paul got his last night.
Tried like hell to find vintage ads with original flying wheel designs - pretty much came up empty.

With a big fat whitewall in the middle - that would be pretty cool.

LL,
I have that same emblem on a t-shirt.
I will bring it by.
You kinda want the flat view of the tire though, don't ya?

Well - I really like the wings thru the center - but in order to see the tire it needs to be a flatter, say 3/4 view. which takes us back to using the modified flying eye design. Meant to do some sketching last night but fell asleep on the couch.

Loungelife, Check out the post I just started on St. Christopher medals, three have wings. I just love St. Christopher medals with wings, will check some old literature for you later and see what turns up.

Here's a really quick version. The tire has too much detail, maybe one of the better illustrators could fix it up?

My friend got spanked for using versions of the Indy 500 Winged Wheel on his business forms!!!
And I know there quite a few different versions for the Motorcycle Police...., but my favorite was this...
