This is probably an easy one for someone, but not me. Wiring up our new shop truck, gm column(not tilt) to dodge ignition system. There are a lot more connections than I'm used to on a gm column ignition switch and I can't find a good diagram, can anyone help? What should get hooked up to what?
Thanks,
Theo

pull the wiring plug out of the switch and take a look inside where the male spade connections are...if your eyes are as bad as mine you may need reading glasses or a maginfying glass....there will be some VERY small letters next to each spade....there is I-1 , that's for you igintion and will stay hot while starting, S for start , A for accesories , i think there is a "B"for battery in , I-3 for powering up the switched side of your fuse block(this will not be hot during starting, only hot while in the running position)..there are more, but you don't need to use them all..i think this will get you going...greg

Going to Dodge from G.M. isn't a big deal. All you need is a diagram of the G.M. terminal layout of the switch. I'd be glad to send it to you but can't get photos to follow my mail here. P.M me your E-Mail address and I'll scan and send you a drawing.
