Well I plan to arrive In Louisville on Thursday about 2 pm.
Driving the 37 coupe for the 5 hour trip. I have a room at the Hotel directly across the street from the gates of the fairgrounds. I'll be there from Thursday morning thru Sunday afternoon. I'm taking Big Olds and will be parking in the usual RRT/HAMB gathering spot along the wooden split rail fence that goes out to the swap meet area on the east side of the exhibit building. Also parked there will be the new RRT BBQ trailer that we've been working on this spring/summer. L'ville will be it's debute.

How does noonish sound for a meet and greet time?

How does Firday and Saturday sound for "offical" days since some might not be coming all 4 days.

ALSO, don't forget about the Monster Art Show taking place on FRIDAY evening. A few of us are planning on attending so why don't wee have an offical meet and greet there as well, say 9PM. That gives folks time to shower and eat after the show. I hear there is going to be special hot rod parking out front. I'll look for the link to Von Tinglers earlier post regarding it and link it here.

As a sidenote, the grounds will be MUCH different this year. They have completely reworked the main drag leading to the circle. When I was there for the swap a few months ago, they had ripped up all the grass medians, WTF!

This will put a cramp on the guys who setup tents!

Yes, from what I saw last month while passsing thru L'ville on the way to Bowling Green, all of lot A is gone, and the part of lot C that is in front of lot A is also gone. From what I understand the exhibit building is being expanded to almost "Ring Road". From the artist rendering of the new layout it looks like there will be lots of grass and landscaping in from of it in the furture BUT who knows what it will look like next week.

I can't believe the forcasted weather for Louisville this weekend !
Nice and cool and NO RAIN !!!!
The only thing I dread is the heat and humidity down there during the show. I dont look as good as the Blonde forcasters on the weather channel but here's goes anyway.
Changed our arrival times to a day earlier. leaving wednesday evening and arriving in Louisville around 12:00 midnight. Hope to meet everyone in the fairgrounds and not on the highway!
