i want to put some in my wagon, and was wondering how tall they are.i need to figure out if they will fit under the hood and what kind of air cleaner i would need to run..this wagon makes them look like even without the stacks, they may be a tad tall.

Damn.. That is a bad ass car.... Im pretty shure there right at 6". I dont have any to check for you right now, but Im about 95% shure thats right... Cause heres how I figured it for my truck.... +4"for a cross ram + 4" for the carb spacers + 6" for the 94's(or 97's), plus what ever stacks I make(probably staggered, 3", 5" and 7")... Not really gonna fit under any hood, but thats the point on mine... Ive had some freinds that have tried 94's on some of the later 50's stuff and had clearance problems...

rev616: Just went down and measured up the Holley sitting on top of my 8BA. From bottom of base to top of air horn it comes out at 5 11/16". Hope this helps! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Regards, Dave.

If they're too tall you could do a hood treatment like this

I think it would look pretty badass on a wagon

thats what i was thinking too..but id liek to try and retain the stock hood trim down the center.i love the looks of it.i think it would be bad ass to have them under it also..we'll see what happened when i finally track down an intake and get everything measured up.
