View Full Version : need help finding options plate on a 64 oldsmobile

i found a website that tells where to find the body by fisher plate for 64 f85's.i cant find mine,im thinking maybe because its body by ionia,and not a f85?its a 64 olds dynamic 88 longroof.can anyone help me?
also in the search i found a couple gulf oil change stickers in the left door jam.the one i could read was dated 1974! hah im stocked,its just too bad it will have to come off when the car goes to paint sometime this winter

f-85/cutlass, totally different animals than the 88's and 98's and Jetfires and Starfires, etc. I don't know anything about the big cars. Good luck though!

yeah.but i figured they might put the plate around the same place..oh well.i have the hardest time finding anything for this car..haha..i havent even been able to find out what "letter" body they called it (a body,b body,and so on).

Hey...
I have a few of those cars though no longroofs. Look under the vent baffles piece that sits under the wipers on the pass side. There should be a rveted on, stamped panel that gives you the info you are looking for. May be tough to read with the part in place but it is easy to pull off.

Quick correction,
You should be able to see it up in that neighborhood if you lift up your hood. Mine is visible there
