Hey THEM! TX and HAMB Hauler update...

For THEM... Sorry I've not been getting to the Tues meet. This month I'm up at 4:30am on tues and work until about 3:15pm so I have no energy to go anywhere when I get home. I hope honest's truck is going well. Maybe next moth will be easier...

As far as the HAMB Hauler I've been slowly stripping it here and there. As a personal challenge I've decided to try to get the 235 in it running again. When I got ahold of it it was frozen, but looked pretty good othewise. I've never taken one of these apart before so what the hell.
Started digging into it. As I took it apart I could tell that it had been parked with a full block full of water that just evaporated in the TX heat. But over time that also left a bunch of rust in pretty much anywhere there was water.
Cleaned most of that out so far.

block before... Took the head off and filled the cylinders with PB blaster. After not too long it came loose. The cylinder walls were pretty damn smooth so it doesn't seem like this engine was run too long in this truck.

Looking good man, the paint isn't that bad either. I'd suggest a color that is obvious to us all, but I'm sure it's been said before (plus there's already a pink chevy (GMC) truck...and lord knows the world does NOT need two of them!)
