You can get the rubber from RB's Obsolete or Steele Rubber Prod.

Insert it onto the car - sans glass - starting at the bottom center and work it around up to the top center. That will show the amount of excess that will be trimmed. HOWEVER, I would recommend not cutting off all the excess until installing the glass since there will be some stretch or shrink involved.

I cut the excess at the top center since it seemed less obvious there.

I'm sure a genuine expert will be along shortly to give better advice.

I am no genuine expert but I cut mine on the bottam where the center post meets up...
I pre-fit the glass and rubber together allowing a little to trim as needed.
also, if you are re-using the stock trim most if not all of that area is hidden by the stainless.

Hey minor dude, you might be able to find some generic rubber by the foot that'll be way cheaper than buying a formed original repro. I matched a piece of the old rubber with some from JC Whitney and it's so close you can't tell the difference. The price was less than half.

I'm just thinking about where you're building your car and what it takes financially to get it done.

Nads,
I stock all those types of rubber. I buy a 50 foot roll for about the same price as one gasket. but I still buy formed gaskets when ever possible and pass the cost on to my customers.a lot less problems and usually a better finished job http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
