bftwcs,

thanx for the "event" coverage.

i wouldn't toot our own horn, but since you already started it, please allow me to give some credit where credit is due. these pix are from the car show today that my club has put on annually for 29 years.

the zephyr belongs to (and was restored by) joel haden, a long time restorer/rodder. i've ridden in this car and unless you've ever had the priviledge of riding in a similar car you just can't imagine how smooth it really is.

as you can see, the salt wasn't kind to clarence this year. i've been to b'ville 3 times and even though i washed the underside the same way this year as i always have, rust appeared this time where it never did before. lots of places and pretty bad, too. oh, well. not your problem.

weeds' tub; what can i say? it's even more kick-ass in person than it is in pix.

the '58 fury and matching boat belong to tom mitchell. some of you hard core mopar guys probably know him. he's made a name for himself nationally with his mopars. this car is but one in his large collection of all mopars. and all his cars are of the highest quality. just in case you're wondering, the outboard motor on the boat is a chrysler engine. tom just doesn't have anything that's not mopar.

sean, thanx for taking the pic of the '26 t truck. look closely boys. that's a hand hewn overhead cam conversion on that t engine. owned by (and i believe fabbed by) the same joel hayden as in the zephyr pic. 'course the side-draft webbers are pretty cool, too.

sean, thanx for taking and sharing the pictures and thank all the rest of you for listening.

No problem. I took about 30 pics but most of the Cars weren't HAMB material, if you know what I mean http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Kinda like this one...
