31 tudor sedan rear suspension

i've gotta 31 ford tudor sedan that i plan on channeling over the frame..question is..whats the preferred rear suspension to clear the floor? i plan on channeling the floor 4" to clear the frame..which is kicked up 4" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gifi've seen ladder bar type suspensions used and also triangulated 4 bar setups,which is better?? pete and jakes make a nice ladder bar setup but i wanted to know if it'll work??,i plan on using coil overs and a rear panhard if i go with the ladder bar setup any suggestions would be great http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think a into about yourself and car would be the first thing. Then P&J does make a good easy set-up good instructions and nice ride too.

Do an introduction to let us know who you are. On my super channeled A coupe, I'm going with a sort of ladder bar setup and a transverse 40 ford spring. I think that will work good. My buddy with a 31 sedan went with ladderbars and coilovers and that car rides pretty good. Dave

I think you should just heat the springs with a torch to slam it to the ground they ride much better that way

Let me throw sand in the cogs here.

A trailing arm is the hot setup. Ditch the coilovers and snag a pair of coils ('60s style).

By the way, 514735, that's a really sneaky name. Why don't you change it to Maynerd Krebs, that's still open.
