Flathead Intakes

I see the catalogs make a difference between 38-48 and 49-53 intake manifolds. The online classifieds do not. What's the difference? Can they be interchanged?

The 49 and 53 have a road draft tube in the front along with the oil fill. I think the fuel pump configuation is diffent as well. You post went unotoice because you posted it in the Welcome area. Repost it in the maessage board area where it will be seen. I made the same mistake my firat time as well. Welcome to the HAMB!!!!
