Steve, you need to get the ' 57, pull the chrome straight axle out from under the Nova, and put it where it belongs!...under that Tri-5!!
...(or just turn me onto that ' 57, I only have 5, I NEED another one!)

Shit... If I told you the prices, you'd think I found one of YOUR hookups! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gifhttp://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You always seem to find the sweet deals!
Plus, my 55's gonna get a straight axle, the 57 will probly just be a cruiser if I snag it.
I think the little Nova needs a tunnel rammed small block and a 'glide!

Love these salvage yard shot's. Dream this scene: Put a mild, stump pulling 500 Cad in the 5-7. Add a straight axle! Now add a trailer hitch to pull that Nasty Nova bare-lee street legal to the Drag's that are far a-way.

For $100 or the cost of a pair of half decent shoes, you can't go wrong! I'd love to see this bad boy without a hood, tunnelram, and put a stick with the 3rd pedal and can you spell FUN!!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif..........good score Steve!!

Bummer! I've had 4 or 5 in my lifetime and a guy in our car club is putting together a straight axel Nova this winter.
I might even ad another $25 bucks or so just to tempt you......are sure you don't want to pass that one on to me?
But really it looks like a great find and I can't wait to see pictures of the progress.

One of those little sedans is on my "list" ... oh yes, I WILL build one before I croak off...oh yes.
I'd be happy with a 406, 4 speed.

I've got my other Chevy II to go fast (well when it's not broken anyway! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif), So I think this one will be more "show" (read "Traditional 60's style"), but I'll still try to knock down some decent ET's with it.
