Thought I'd try a 302 in my PU
I bought a late 80's (?) (carb injected) 302
I used a 351 flywheel & clutch off my old motor as the 302
was out of an automatic
I have a balance problem
Can anyone help me with this?

I'm sure there are a ton of folks who will help you out-

Just go to the Hokey Ass Message Board, where these kind of questions are asked (This board is for technical questions pertaining to the HAMB's operation).

Give a short introduction of yourself , and then ask away.

the ford smallblocks use a 28oz or a 50oz flywheels but when you get into the older stuff I'm not sure. I believe the older 302's use the same oz. flywheel but when you get into the newer stuff i know they started using different flywheels. I hope i helped a little, I'll dig thru some info and see what I can find.

You seem to have the newer engine and the 351 balances with the older 302. I think the split was early to mid 80s.
