at the road agents show we picked up a hood and lights for the A truck we're building...but i had my car outside today and decided to lay the hood on mine and rig it up to look a bit more done...i made a cardboard door and propped up the grill(which will be back 1-1.5 inches more when done) i realize things are all out of wack for the lines flowing but it gives a bit better of an idea what it might look like..theres also windsheildd posts mocked up but you can;t really see them in the picture...so anyways i just figured id share...i only took one

The lines look good to me.
The rad shell usually sits too high, yours looks good.

well the cowl post needs 1-3/4" added to the top and a 3/4" body line added to the top of the 1/4's that will fix that line also the hood may be right but im thining it could come up just a tiny bit 1/2 inch maybe...cause it will look wrong with the "real" door top...the grill needs to come back a little bit too and a hood made for the car a little longer...still not sure on the single peice window or a hallock...maybe i'll make both and switch back and forth?

long term plans...finish it!...either flat black or brush painted 1-shot maroon or some sort of flat maroon...nothing on it newer then 51-52...basically just want it to be like you found it in a barn...if my money cituation changes like it looks like it might ...i may just buy a "real" roadster body cause i want a real roadster if that case i'll stick this one in the shed for a future project(sport coupe is not a roadster no matter how much work you put into it aparently)...thats about it...mainly i just want a car on the road...but im being picky about it being all old and flathead no matter what
would someone really have gone through this much effort in 1946 or whatever just to have a roadster...i doubt it...couda just found one for a few bucks and slapped it together...its a hot rod not a custom car but theres gona be more body work in this then most customs...i mean i'll admit i like the looks of this better then a real 29 roadster....i dontl like the long back deck on them...but still this thing isnlt a real roadster and im just stuck on that fact
thats all

donlt worry...the hood will have a nice home on a 31 truck and same with the lights...or....i'll end up running the lights and modify the bar for on this car...we'll see....either way they'll have a good home....did you use one of those pinstripe wheel things on the hood? awfully consistantly thick lines "ALL" over it
thanks
