So that's the new one. Nice, looks like equal parts cafe-bobber-chopper. COOL! Can I still get a hand job if I don't submit anything?

You need the address to send the shirt to or what?

Quick and dirty. I like the frame silver...

I like my bikes pretty much all one color...smooth & simple.

I messed with a goldish/copper hue, but I like a strong electric green shade...both are getting overdone these days, but aside from mirror gloss black, I think it looks best on a bike this smooth.

Add your badge and exhaust to it and RULE 'em all! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Cole, I don't do photoshop work, but the sceam that is shown only with ten foot deep black and white with a deep red pin stripe separating the two colors and some old style striping in the red on the back edge of the rear finder. Now that would be cool.--TV http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

How about Silver with "Salinas Blue TM" Blue or Bare Metal with "Salinas Blue TM" ?? W / White Pinstripe

I'll trade the shirt for some carbs http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Think Gloss black with a gold edge striping.......

Pure and discrete.

Sure it's been done before, but that bike doesn't need a gimmick paintjob for attention.

Class is class. K.I.S.S.

Cheers,

Paint it light silver with a lot of metallic... and it'll be a winner.

Put the T-shirt in the mail and you can owe me the hand job...

Here's a quick one.
Who's performing the handjob? If it's a dude, I'll take the shirt and Evel can have the handjob. That's right up his alley. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

God Damn!! Mention handjob and 50 people post @ the same time. Remind me to mention that when I post for wanted parts in the classified board.

Wow! I can't believe how many people are hurtin' for a handy! I say gold leave all of it then burry it in clear. And don't forget to rid any metal shards from your hand before coming over.

30 Tudor took my suggestion. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Now what it really needs is a theme. How about the 'Rolling steel steed tribute to the all American giraffe enthusiast' bike. Then I guess giraffe print would be my suggestion. I wear a size large t-shirt. Thank you-come again.

I agree with the copper/bronze and ivory... copper/bronze base with simple ivory panel with single scallop on tank sides, narrow ivory panel on tank top and fender.

Tough to do with this pic, but here's a try...

Cole- I cain't do fancy computer painting.....
Forget two tones.....Just paint it a silverish/beige mix-pearl and then your badge is the second color....PAINT THE RIMS THE SAME COLOR
two color/SCHEME equals CIRCUS WAGON GRAPHICS. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's a classic 'two tone' done by painting the frame & sheetmetal in contrasting colors...in this case, crimson and gold!!!

The Harpoon
07-20-2004, 12:32 AM
Chrome frame/sheetmetal. Candy Gold, or any color candy for that matter over the sheetmetal. Thick and thin mod racing stripes start at tank-extend to end of fender(stripes stay chrome).

Char-Cole gray flake, simple pearl scallops and dove gray pinstripe.

Tony Bones
07-20-2004, 02:12 PM
Cole, I don't want the handjob...right up front about that one.

But hell man, you're a metal working genius. Why not leave anything you hand hammered bare and polished? Have the frame powdercoated semi-gloss gray and let your metal work do the talking.

I wish I could PhotoShop this for you, but I'm a tard http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The sides of the tanks and fender A blue kinda like your 54 and the tops an ivory(ish) color, but Im not sure about the pinstripe between the two colors lighter blue, black.... maybe none???

Is that the bike you were working on when I was there just after paso? -J.

Personally if the components are aluminum I'd anodize those bitches that would look sweet. Steel components I would go crimson with leading star diamond silver flake under lying the crimson, subtle. I'd photoshop it but I don't have photo shop.

You got some real damn good style when building those two wheel beasts I gotta tell ya.

Silver and orange, the silver would be a nice darker(but not grey)with super micro flake and the orange would be darker but not copper just plain old orange(Flying Merkel color) and deep red striping. DO the frame in the silver with pinstripes down the center of the tubes. The sheet metal would look good with a swooping panel of the silver in the center of the orange tank with the stiping around it. plain but not to plain and best of all it's not black or red. And since no one else wants the hand job I'll fuckin take it, remember it's not gay unless your balls touch.

I was thinking you should do a Gene Windfield inspired fade. I see it going from a deep blue metallic into a cobalt blue metallic then to silver into a light blue(almost white) metallic. Top it of with a Cole Foster emblem that has (deep blue)scallops trailing off the back edge (and matching scallops on the rear fender).

like this - (sorry almost impossible to make a decent scallop in a 72 ppi photo).

Broman
07-28-2004, 01:57 AM
Forgot to point out the fade should be applied to the frame in certain areas as well....

And I am already giving myself a handjob looking at the bike - but I will take another thanks. Send t-shirt and cheap stripper handjob ho to: D.Shannon Muscatine Iowa 52761. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
