Ok so we had fun driving there (we got poncho & Daisy there).
Had fun on the Cruise round Hayling (even if i did keep leaving flasher on! glad i'm blonde)
Went to go on 2nd cruise to southsea and the vibration came back. So I drove her there anyway parked her up for everyone to see and then drove her back. Got back to camp taildraggin had a look under neath (good job she ain't lowered) couldn't see anything. Parked up in show shine on Sunday noticed leak at back of engine. Think the vibration from the drive shaft has unsealed the gasket at back of engine. Soooooooo no way was i going to be able to drive her over 100 miles back home. So called breakdown service and her trailered home http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif At least i had fun in her all weekend and saved on petrol money on the way home http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Taildraggin has now got 3 weeks to sort out problem before supernats so watch this space.....
Now sit back and hopefully enjoy the pics of a few of the cars that were there.
And yes that is me cleaning Daisy. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is something about that maroon RPU that makes it look perfect, but I don't know what. For some reason, it looks really simple, if that makes any sense. I'm really digging it.
Great pics, congrats on making it to the show!

So there we go a few of the cars that were on show. I hope i selected a good selection for you lot.
I think we Limeys have a lot of cars to be proud of http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif (there was of course some rubbish there but each to there own).
I done what i set out to do, take Daisy to show and everyone who walked past her made a comment (wether they liked the colour or not) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Daisy im gutted i didnt get to thorney, but my truck aand my sedan are in bits just now.. Im also realy sorry i didnt get there because one of the pics you showed was a car i built about 10 years ago and it sill looks great in the pic. The car in question is the black 28 A roadster on B rails with the duval style screen and red steels.
I sold the car to a fella in High Wycombe who hardly used it, He sold it on and it got the beige leather dyed red and the duval fitded.. If you know who it belongs to now or if you are the new owner reading this, i would like to get in touch..redoxide@aol.com, great pics.. specially the A LOL, P.S thanks for uncovering it for me ..
