Anyone goin/been to the Texas Heat Wave truck show???

Just wonderin if they have a car corral area fer selling trucks?

I've been to just about every one. And I don't remember any kind of car corral, but that doesn't mean you can't enter in the show and use several For Sale signs as your display...

That's what I planned on doing. I don't want to register for the show or be judged. Just park my truck with a sign on it in the show, check shit out and drink beer.

It would be cheaper for you to enter the vehicle so that you get your 2 passes for the weekend and get the car in the show to put signs on it. Other wise you pay like $25 per weekend pass and they park you in BFE. Just a thought.

Make sure your car is fully legal. A coupla years ago, DPS (texas state troopers) sat out in front and wrote everyone in line tickets for no front plates, illegal tint, lights out, bad stickers, etc.

After a couple of hours and like 130 tickets, the local sheriff came and ran em off since it was private property they were on, but it still ruined a lot of people's day. A lot of people bring works-in-progress to these events, so they don't have tags, insurance etc.

The ticket thing was the year that they moved the show to the Dell Diamond in Round Rock. They moved the show back to the Travis County Expo Center in Austin the very next year and it was fine. I guess Round Rock cops were just trying to ensure that we never wanted to go back to their little part of the world.

Spectator Gate Fee
Weekend passes are $20.00 each at the gate (this give you in and out access).
Daily passes are $15.00 each at the gate (no in and out access pass).

Don't know about parking in BFE.

We had a booth there last year and it was HOT!!! I mean HOT!!! I would try and stay in the indoor arena if you plan on staying there all day, its air-conditioned.
