Hi, Im MarauderDan Im new tothe forum . I am currently gathering parts to build a 49 chevy pickup , It is a real piece of junk but Ive seen worse on ebay forsale . I plan on building it old school & I dont want any parts on it newer than 1965 , although some things such as brakes , I dont care for single master cylinders . It has no front fenders, only one door & its nogood , dash & interior is stripped out, still has the original running gear but I trash that. I plan on installing a 283 bored .060 , solid lifter cam , Edelbrock c4b intake if I can find one, 600 Holley , would like to find a used set of fenderwell headers , I have a few cal custom parts saved back Ive had for years . I want to use a set of Corvette valve covers also. I will be running a3 speed stickshift as back in the day. I dont know about wheels yet but they probally be mismatched as guys in my old neiborhood used to do when I was a kid , you know mags on the front & painted steelys on the rear.
